Silliness

Just a little bit of fun today. I feel like I’ve been a little “deep” lately, so I decided to fill your head with some useless knowledge. Perhaps the following things will come in handy the next time you have the opportunity to play Trivial Pursuit or you run out of small talk at a party. For some reason, my brain seems to soak up these little tidbits throughout the day and I can’t shake them. Where I leave my keys or when my power bill is due – these things slip my mind constantly but meaningless trivia is there forever. So here you go…enjoy!
Did you know…

The phrase “Play it Again Sam” is never said in the movie Casablanca
The diameter of Pluto is less than the distance between London, England, and Athens, Greece.
Echinacea – the herb that is now said to help boost the immune system and speed up the recovery from the common cold – was the original “snake oil”.
Las Vegas is the brightest man-made space visible from space.

The state of Washington is called the Evergreen State.
Mistletoe is a parasite of the apple tree.

Now you all can amaze and astound your friends with your new useless knowledge. I hope you enjoyed today's journey into the ridiculous. Have a great day!
